Nose: Sweet Leather, Brown Sugar, Cherry Oak, Baking Spices, Vanilla Extract, Creme Brulee, signature WT Funk
Palate: Sweet Brown Sugar, Toffee, Creme Brulee, Cherry Jubilee, Leather, Tobacco and that signature WT Funk
Mouthfeel: Texture is round and rich for 110P. I would love more oilyness but I'm very happy with the good viscosity. Not much astringency or tannins.
Finish: There's a lingering Leathery note that stays on your Palate along with hints of Black Cherries, Burnt Brown Sugar, and the WT Funk.

This is our VERY FIRST Russell's Single Barrel Store Pick after being on the waiting list for more than 12 Years, so we were beyond excited to get down to Kentucky in May! We were supposed to be greeted by Grant Wheeler, the WT Barrel Manager, but we had the surprise and honor of Bruce Russell himself hosting us instead! The experience was amazing, and the Store Pick came out amazing. Super lush and elegant with plenty of sweet notes and baking spices. Definitely going to be a hit with all Turkey fans! [🔥]
