Palate: Brown Sugar, Sweet Vanilla Custard, Black Cherry, Creme Brulee, Cherry Wood, some Leathery Funk, Confectioners Sugar, Peppery Spice,
Mouthfeel: Texture is Viscous and Oily with a little dryness
Finish: There's a lingering Leathery note that stays on your Palate along with Creme Brulee sweetness, subtle Funk, and a little dryness on the backend.

This is really Tasty right off the bat! It's got that signature Leathery Funk from it's source with Sweet Caramels, Vanillas, and Creme Brulee vibes. If you've tried our Onyx 8YR Store Pick, it's very similar in mouthfeel and overall quality with a little more Cherry Wood and Pepper Spice. I've tried them side by side and I personally give the nod to this Elkwood Store Pick if you were to ask me at this moment, although I do love that Onyx Store Pick. I'm a big fan of these Cask Strength releases that you don't normally see coming from its source outside of they're LTO's. Grab one now and you won't be disappointed!
